Voice Lessons: Breathing Problems? Try These “Releasing” Tools

When the same message shows up from seemingly unrelated places, it gets my attention. 


 - Brendon Bruchard, business coach and public speaker, shared his daily meditation, which is breathing and repeating the words “release, release, release.”


- Steven W. Smith in his vocal pedagogy book called “The Naked Voice,” wrote about the importance of fully releasing the breath while you sing. 


- And, in my new Thich Ngat Hahn book about communication, he describes the importance of breath and allowing for full release when connecting to yourself and others…


So, today we are going to apply this idea of “releasing” to our vocal practice…
